Greece and TURKEY!

So we headed out on our med/small cruise ship about 5 days ago. The ship is nice...nothing too fancy, but there's a pool, good food, a happy hour every day and our room is bigger than I expected. The best part is that we stay at port for a whole day and night. We cruise between the islands in the early morning hours (usually between 6-10 am) Our days are spent cruising around the little towns and looking for sandy beaches...so far the one I am laying on now as I write from Mykonos is the first one so far! Greece just doesn't have good beaches??!...they are mostly gravel...the kind we use for driveways)...a disapointment and ouch:( This is also the only island with the white houses along nerrow hilly roads...the ones I pictured. The rest are nice as well, but Turkey was AMAZING! The next best place to Jamaica! We all loved Turkey :)
We ported at the town of Bodrum. A nice resort town with a great nightlife. Eveverything was so much cheaper and nicer in Turkey...including the men. I resited the urge to jump ship and stay with the 28 year old guy from the bar who nearly didn't let me go. We had turkish baths too!...where they heat you up in a sauna, scub you down, then lay you on a big marble slab and massage you down in a cloud of suds (done by big hairy greek men in surongs...uhg) followed by a massage...at least the younger men at that point had less hair! It was quite an experience! And I don't want to forget the beach...although it was grevel we were waited on hand and foot all day while laying around on cushy lawn furniture (in the pics). Every body loved us because we are americans...even gave us discounts. (Mostly because they were tired of the european travelers that are typically there) They loved us and we loved them back!...just not too much...no husband...it was close though ;)
